Here are the winners from the Pa. Farm Show’s craft beer awards - pennlive.com

Craft brewers raised a celebratory glass Saturday at the Pennsylvania Farm Show in Harrisburg.

For the second year, a variety breweries, from well-known brands to smaller ventures, earned awards in the craft beer competition.

The big winner was Saucony Creek Brewing Company of Kutztown, Berks County. It won Best of Show with a Rum Barr Aged Maple Mistress and the PA Preferred Legacy Award fora PA Preferred English Ale made with Pennsylvania-sourced ingredients.

Locally, several central Pa. brewers including Troegs Independent Brewing in Hershey, Tattered Flag Brewery in Middletown and Ever Grain Brewing Company in Hampden Township captured awards.

The second annual contest saw an increase of more than 100 entries over the 2019 inaugural competition. For many, the brewery awards are long overdue.
