Local artists team up for Holiday Pop-Up
Over 20 local artists have come together to create the Main Street Flea Holiday Pop-Up, Dec. 5-8 at 61 Main Street next to Shin La restaurant. Using an unoccupied storefront this group of rural artists will be offering works in a variety of mediums. Come see Rob Cartelli's wheel-thrown porcelain pottery, Julia Tadlock's handmade gemstone jewelry, Kivimea Farm's dried flower wreaths, encaustic paintings by Vale Burns, live portrait photography by Ezra Distler, healing tonics by Tiny Pony Apothecary, Sarah e Rice's outstanding illustrative art, ceramic creatures and vessels by Judith Thomas, Dar Tavernier-Singer's scrimshaw jewelry and so much more. Hours are 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday; 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday; and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Local singer, songwriter and "Fleaster" Shea Witso will perform at the Opening Gala during Gallery Walk on Friday, Dec. 6, from 5:30 to 8 p.m.

Festival of Wreaths and Greens
All Souls Unitarian Universalist Church, 29 South St., will hold its Annual Holiday Bazaar on Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be handmade Christmas wreaths, swags and ornaments for sale, as well as a Gift Emporium, an Artisan Bake Table, and an Eco Table featuring homemade cloth gift bags, and DVD movies. The Caf will serve a variety of chilies and corn bread beginning at 11 a.m. both days. All proceeds benefit the All Souls Church Unitarian Universalist at West Village Meeting House, whose building is the home of the Theater Adventure Program, as well as a gathering for special occasions, community events, and conferences. Craft Fair and Messiah Sing
Centre Congregational Church, 193 Main St., will hold its Annual Christmas Craft Fair on Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., followed by the Annual Messiah Sing. The Caf will serve soups and desserts on Friday evening and Santa's Shop for children ages 4-10 will "shop" for free, have dinner and do a craft while parents are able to enjoy the evening. On Saturday morning the Caf will serve coffee and waffles and lunch before the Messiah. The bazaar items include: a silent auction, quilt raffle, hand-made items for adults and babies, hand made wreaths, SERVV table with Central American items, a selection of homemade Christmas cookies for purchase.
VERNON
Home for the Holidays
There will be a Home for the Holidays Craft Fair at Vernon Elementary School, 381 Governor Hunt Road, on Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be 50 local vendors, a scholastic book fair, and lunch specials.

Holiday Bazaar
The Holiday Bazaar at Guilford Community Church will be held Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Crafts, wreaths, gifts, holiday goodies, raffle table, and white elephants. Breakfast goodies, hot beverages, sandwiches, and soups will also be for sale. Kids can have their picture taken with one of Santa's elves and then turn it into a holiday card. All proceeds from the bazaar benefit the church, which actively supports numerous local programs and organizations serving the wider community.
READSBORO
Christmast fest
The First Baptist Church of Readsboro will host a Christmas fest on Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Guests will be welcomed with a sip of eggnog. Then they can peruse the Chinese Auction, the homemade quilt with a basket of gifts for baby, take the opportunity to own a Nativity and stable. A table of baked goods, candy, baked beans and more will be featured. At 11 a.m. a lunch of soup and sandwiches with gingerbread for dessert will be served.
EAST DOVER
Craft Fair benefits local charities
The 5th Annual Dover Holiday Craft Fair will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, at the Dover Town Hall. Local artists and crafters will be featuring hooked rugs, jewelry, photography, knit and fabric arts, decorative woodcrafts, honey, balsam & birdseed wreaths and more. Admission is free. Fundraising opportunities to benefit the Dover School sixth grade and local charities through a bake sale, lunch items and quilt raffle. WILMINGTON
Bright Lights Craft Fair is back
Forget large box stores and manufactured goods this holiday season. Shop local at the 8th annual Bright Lights Craft Fair at Memorial Hall on Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The craft fair will feature hand-crafted items made by local artisans. Examples include:greeting cards, stationery, watercolor artwork, slate paintings, photography, pressed flower art, ceramics, pottery, jewelry, candles, soaps, lotions, hats, books and more. Proceeds from vendors' booth fees will benefit Old School Enrichment Center.
After the craft fair, continue shopping throughout the day at participating downtown businesses to take advantage of specials offered to attendees of the craft fair. A list of participating businesses will be posted in Memorial Hall on the day of the craft fair.
